One app for the whole journey
Travel usually means a maps app, a review site, a notes file, a bill-splitting app and a camera roll. RutMe brings them together, built around how people actually travel across Karnataka and Kerala.
Discover
Attractions, restaurants, stays, events and verified local guides, with AI scores.
Plan
Day-by-day itineraries with real travel time between stops, editable by hand.
Split costs
A pooled trip budget, per-person expenses, balances and settle-up.
Share
Reels, a community feed and a travel diary built from your trip.
Stay safe
TrailGuard: SOS, emergency numbers and nearby hospitals, police and fire.

Plan a trip in five clear steps
Start from where you are, pick the destinations you fancy and RutMe walks you through the rest. No blank page, no twenty open tabs.
- 1Places
Set origin, country and state, then search or browse destinations.
- 2Creation type
Build it yourself or let AI draft the plan.
- 3Details
Dates, group and budget.
- 4 · 5Itinerary & review

Not ready to decide? Save Draft keeps your plan so you can finish it later.
Real travel time between every stop
A good itinerary is more than a list of places. RutMe shows the distance and drive between stops and how long to spend at each, so a day that looks easy on paper is easy on the road too.
- Distance and drive time shown per leg, per day and for the whole trip.
- Time slots for each stop, like 09:00–11:00 AM, with how long you will spend there.
- Drag to reorder within a day or move a stop to another day.
- Add or remove stops and whole days in a tap.
- Trip summary with days, stops, total travel and total travel time.

Split the cost, not the friendship
Group trips go wrong over money more often than over the route. Set one trip budget, log expenses as they happen and always know who owes what.
Total, spent and remaining, with a progress meter and warnings.
Share an expense between members, or keep it personal.
Pooled spending alongside balances and contributions tabs.
Expenses are grouped by Food & Dining, Hotel & Stay, Activity & Entry, Transport and more, and you can mark an expense as planned before you pay.
Help is one tap away, even on a ghat road
Many of Karnataka and Kerala's best places are hills, forests and waterfalls where things can go wrong far from home. TrailGuard is RutMe's safety layer for exactly those trips.
- SOS button to raise an emergency alert that shares your location.
- Quick dial for Police 100, Fire 101, Ambulance 102, Tourist 1363, Women 1091, Child 1098 and National Emergency 112.
- Nearby emergency services — hospitals, police stations and fire stations around your current location, with distance and a one-tap call or directions.
Offline checkpoint maps and route-deviation alerts for ghat, forest and trekking routes, and live location sharing with forest departments.
